Dr. Min Gao is an extensively experienced registered acupuncturist. She graduated from Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine with a Bachelor's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), as well as a Master's and a Doctorate degree in Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine Clinical Medicine.
Dr. Min Gao began her professional career in 2006 as an attending physician in the Department of TCM Gastroenterology at the China-Japan Friendship Hospital, Ministry of Health. She is particularly skilled in using traditional Chinese medicine to treat various digestive internal medicine diseases, and has also provided auxiliary treatment for cancer patients, including postoperative adverse reactions, adverse reactions to radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and improving quality of life. Over nearly 10 years of practice, she has accumulated a wealth of clinical experience, relieving the pain of many patients and improving their quality of life.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Min Gao is also a dedicated teacher. She has served as a teaching instructor for clinical practice bases at the China-Japan Friendship Hospital, a teaching instructor for clinical training bases for TCM resident doctors training station, and a lecturer in TCM internal medicine at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.
In 2016, Dr. Min Gao moved to Canada and began practicing TCM there. She has since expanded her services to a wider range of patients, treating various types of pain, anxiety, cancer-related symptoms, radiotherapy and chemotherapy side effects, infertility, and weight loss. In Canada, she has continued her work in TCM education as an instructor in TCM formula and TCM internal medicine at the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CITCM), and as a supervisor in the intern clinic.
